Is your commercial roof outdated? Let Cardinal help!

Cardinal: Commercial Roofing and Insulation

For more than 30 years, we have been applying and installing all types of roofing and commercial insulation systems. During that time, we’ve specialized in spray polyurethane foam roofing, which provides outstanding protection against cold winter weather. Additionally, we have also been applying two-component polyurethane and polyurea spray elastomers since their time of development in the 1990’s. Finally, the vast majority of our projects have been inspected (and approved) by independent engineering firms for compliance and performance, inclusive of warranty.

Research & Development

Not only have we applied many standardized systems, but Cardinal also helps research and development for various manufacturers. Often, this includes testing and feedback of new formulations. Typically, these are prototypes of spray foams and polyureas. As a result, for many companies we provide valuable benchmarks for new products. Most recently, we were enlisted for MDI and TDI “real world” spray mock-ups and analysis by Bayer Material Science, one of the most well-known and trusted brands in the industry.

Leadership & Certifications

Cardinal Group Services, Inc., also known in the industry as Cardinal CRI, is owned and managed by Joseph Markferding. Joseph has been involved in the spray polyurethane industry for more than 30 years. He holds the highest certifications in his field from the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance, the industry’s main trade organization. In addition, he’s just an all around good guy, which makes Cardinal a great place to work.

Safety & Training

You don’t make it to 30 years as a company without doing something right. And we have seen a fair number of other companies come and go during that time. But, because we know the risks associated with the industry, Cardinal employs only highly trained and capable personnel. This includes our foam mechanics, ground support and roof support crews. All our personnel receive extensive safety training prior to setting foot on any job site. All employees have a minimum of OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR training prior to working in the field.

Cardinal Group Services currently holds Qualified Applicator licenses for the following systems:
